We traveled to Dallas this weekend to surprise Tony's Grandparents with an unexpected visit. With the help of his Aunt Cindy, Uncle Tom, and cousin Christine from California, we put on a fabulous impromptu Thanksgiving dinner.
Oh yes! And thanks to the greatest help of all ... Amy and Faith.

We got to Dallas late Friday evening ... so Tony, Evan, and I went out for our own little family treat.

Evan dressed in his warm gear. It was pretty cold there, but warmed up on Sunday.

Can I please take this off now, Mom?

Waking up Saturday morning and eating Cheerios.

Evan with Christine. The Alley's hadn't seen Evan since he was a month old!

Playing shy with Uncle Tom.

Hey! He's wearing my hat!

Out to lunch. Aunt Cindy, Uncle Tom, Great Grandmother Meier, Great Grandfather Meier, Christine, Me, Evan, and Tony.

Evan playing with his Great Grandfather.

He is fun, Mom!

Introducing Faith. She and Amy live next door to the Great's and they are such wonderful people. We really enjoyed getting to know them and spending time with them.

This is their dog, Cooper Hoover. Of course, I believe he was the highlight of Evan's weekend.

Faith and Cooper looking for the tormenting cat.

Aunt Cindy helping Evan walk. He is so close to doing it all on his own!

Evan and Christine.

Fun in the leaves with Daddy. No smiles though!

Evan and Cooper trying to get some Cheerios.

Cooper was crazy for Evan's pacifier. He would snoop all around in my bag until he found it.

I think we know what he needs for Christmas!

Two cute boys.

Hanging out with Great Grandpa.

Evan and Uncle Tom.

Meier generations.
Saying goodbye was really hard for everyone.
We had a great trip and can't wait to see everyone again!
