A Prom Queen's Nightmare...

Prom was this weekend and Tony, Evan and I went with with Jim and Torri to take pictures. Everything was great until Taylor wanted a picture with Evan. (You know what happens now, right?) Well, as Taylor takes Evan from Tony, he looses his lunch all over her beautiful dress. Long story short, we whisked her away and clean it up. Thank the heavens her dress was covered in sequins .... and she had a bottle of perfume in her bag.

Evan is loving baby food. We started off with sweet potatoes and he really enjoyed them. It's like he was born to eat with a spoon. Today we had applesauce and it was yummy too!

4 Month Appointment...

My, my, my how Evan is growing. His weight was 15 pounds 5 ounces, which would put him in the 65th percentile. His head was in the 75th percentile (maybe that's why we're having trouble rolling over). Now, the following fact is just that, a fact and not a typo ... his length is 26 1/2 inches putting him in the 95th percentile! We have a long, skinny boy!

Shots this time around have definitely affected Evan differently than the first. He has been a Momma's Boy for the past 24 hours. Last night he had to be as close to me as possible or he was not sleeping. I think he is getting better though since he is snuggled up to his Daddy right now while I am doing this.

I put Evan down for one of his naps today and as I was doing something in the kitchen, I could hear noises across the monitor. So, I slowly opened his door and quietly leaned over his crib. He was carrying on an intense conversation with the wall and his crib bumper. He would laugh every now and then, but then go back to his conversation. I usually don't let him see me, but I had to take his picture this time. It was too cute!

Meet My New Friend, Braydon...

This is Braydon. He is 6 months old and the son of friends BJ & Amanda.

Today was their first day meeting and we hope we get to spend a lot more time with them in the future. Pee Wee football watch out for these two ... and their Daddies.
