uPdAtE

Evan is getting so big! He now has two teeth and is working on this third. (He is desperate for a hamburger and onion rings.) For now though, he will stick to his baby food. His favorites are green beans and sweet potatoes. He is coming around on the fruit. At first, he didn't like any of them, but now he eats all of them.

He is also loving all of his special time with his Daddy now that Mommy can't quite do as much with him. The Mommy's Boy phase has passed, for now, and he thinks Daddy is just as cool. Now that he has found his voice, he and Daddy have long talks on the changing table. For some reason, that is Evan's favorite place. He is almost always happy there and loves figuring out what his voice can do as he hangs out and gets changed. He also has mastered the fake cough. When he first started doing that, we were convinced something was wrong, but quickly realized he just liked making the noise. It is so cute.

Evan has also taken to his new Auntie Ellen like peanut butter to jelly. She is so good with him and they have the best time during the day. I was so heartbroken always thinking about what I couldn't do with him after surgery, but things have turned out great. We couldn't have asked for a better person to get us through this tough time. Actually, we couldn't have asked for a greater wealth of wonderful people who are getting us through each day.
